Our Pastors

Minister W. Gene Rambo serves as the Co-Pastor and Spiritual Father of the Exodus 8 Christian Fellowship Assembly.  His love for God and God's people is evident in his concern to see that all people prosper and succeed in their spiritual walk.

As a Kansas City, Missouri native, he was greatly influenced by the life of his parents. He received his spiritual instructions and training from his father, Pastor Emmanuel Rambo of the True Love Missionary Baptist Church and his mother, Mattie Washington.  One of fourteen children, Pastor Rambo understands the value of family not only naturally but spiritually.  He, himself, is the father of five children.

In 2000, Pastor W. Gene Rambo became ordained and began to walk in his God-given purpose to preach the Gospel, spread the love of Christ, and prepare God's people for the work of the ministry.

Pastor W. Gene Rambo is man who believes in the value of hard work.  For thirty years, he has worked in the construction business and is the owner of his own general contracting company, Ezekiel General Contracting.

In September 2011, Pastor W. Gene Rambo moved into another phase of ministry when he married Pastor Brenda Carter and became Co-Pastor of the Exodus 8 Christian Fellowship Assembly.  Together they have created a unity that exemplifies the union of Christ and the Church.  They are standing together to heal those who are broken, restore the family unit, and build the Kingdom of God on this earth.

Minister Brenda Rambo is the founder and pastor of the Exodus 8 Christian Fellowship Assembly located in Saint Louis, Missouri.  Knowing that God was moving her into a pastoral and a prophetic teaching ministry, she, after much prayer, commenced the first service of the Exodus 8 Christian Fellowship Assembly on January 3, 2010. Her heart desire is to see the Body of Christ fit and healthy, spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially. Her arms stand outstretched to all who are hurting and bound so that they may receive counsel, instructions, love, and deliverance through the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.  She has a heart for God and His People.

Pastor Rambo, a native of St. Louis, was licensed in 1999 and ordained in 2000 by Pastor Charles M. Roach of Trinity Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Theology from Missouri Baptist University.  With over 40 years of service in hospitals, prisons, nursing homes, and educational facilities, Pastor Rambo seeks to aid those in greatest need.

Believing that the church is to be the hands and arms of God and show forth His love in the community, she organized the Exodus 8 Outreach Ministries, Inc. (E8OM), a 501(c)3 organization aimed at providing life skills and resources for the homeless, ex-convicts, and those seeking a second chance in St. Louis North County communities.

Pastor Rambo recently married Minister W. Gene Rambo. She is the proud mother of two children and grandmother of three.  She is a noted mentor, singer, and intercessor prayer warrior.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?"
Then I said, "Here am I! Send me."
